Interested in getting a leg up on the opposition? Now is the time to start preparing for the football season.   USA Football is hosting a football coaching clinic Saturday, May 31 (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Whether you are about to coach your first game or your 101st, there will be something here for you to gain and take back to your players.

The all-day clinic is designed to give coaches added insight on football trends and techniques, ensuring positive experiences for players, parents and assistant coaches. Network with peers and exchange thoughts with top local football minds to gain an edge and further strengthen America's favorite sport.

Successful high school and youth coaches from the area will serve as clinicians following USA Football's coaching principles, which focus on developing schemes for offense, defense and special teams, as well as coaching theory and responsible coaching.

Registration is $40 and includes lunch, a USA Football t-shirt and gift bag, a USA Football Coaches Handbook and a certificate of completion.
