USA Today has developed a very cool interactive NFL draft tracker which shows players state of origin since 1988.  Not surprisingly, California ranks as the top producer of NFL talent, followed by Texas and Florida. 

Users can sort by state, player, position and team among other fields.  The data includes a comprehensive profile of each player to include high school and college attended prior to being drafted by the NFL.
