Waterman works towards Frosh QB spot at West Ranch

Bob Snow, Quarterbacks of America (6/15)

Quarterback Jeff Waterman has been putting in his dues in the off-season. Waterman has been training exclusively with Coach Jio Lucci, his private QB coach. He attended the 2008 Quarterback Combine and is in the hunt to compete for the starting job at West Ranch High Schools Freshman Football Team.  "Time will tell and extensive hard work that Waterman has put in will determine his capabilities," said Coach Lucci.

"Waterman has been working very hard with me and have been very impressed with the progress.  But, all quarterbacks must get continuous reps and throw to receivers to accomplish the full capacity of what it takes to play quarterback. Being the leader of an entire team takes a special kind of athlete.

Jeff has the quality to do this.  He must validate this now with his play on the field and his work ethic in his academics at school. There is still a lot of work ahead for this athlete. The quarterback position is not easy and unless you totally dedicate yourself to the detailed aspects, footwork and smarts at the position, then you can make a foundation to build on".

Coach Lucci is always determined to have his Quarterbacks not just go out and compete, but to just take the starting job with displaying your talent.

The Quarterback Combine staff is very excited about this. Be ready to work hard, fast and prepared to put all your skills to work. The Summer sessions are open to all, so many of the athletes that registered are from out of state.

Enroll On Line::::::::::

The Summer Combine is not like any football mini camp offered. Our mission is to get you ready to hit the field and compete. It will also pre-condition the athlete. The beauty of it for a quarterback is, now that the athlete is in spring ball and passing leagues, they can tell Coach Lucci what type of offense their school will be running and Coach will be able to enhance that Quarterback in every facet of their teams offense in detail.

NOTE: Currently Coach Lucci  (solo private training) is getting 10 Quarterbacks ready for the "Spread Offense" & Option.

For the quarterback to receive dedication to detail for the offense they are running from Coach Lucci will be a major positive experience for them.

QUOTE:::::  "June and July is when you start getting real good and after the Summer Double Day sessions, you should be great come August. That is our thought level here at The Quarterback Combine. My coaching staff wants that athlete to achieve and succeed. If they are in battle for a starting position, my staff is going to send that athlete into that battle with confidence, poise, leadership, quickness and display the best at position their school has. The
proof is in the athlete and the quarterbacks will be ready to strike".
