High School Footbal Dead Period Training
High School Football Players,
You have trained hard all summer for this coming season. Don't waste all youv'e gained during your dead period. Velcoity Sports Performance has set up a class specifically for high school football players.
Velocity Sports Performance will prepare you for a successful season.
-Players will increase their speed and agility on the field
-Develop explosive power
-Reduce their likelyhood of injury
-As well as be physically and mentally prepared for 2-A-Day practices and the challenges of the season ahead

Velocity to Offer Speed & Agility Camp
Velocity Sports Performance has developed a Speed & Agility Training regimen it will offer for youth football players over the summer. The program will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from June 17 - July 24.
The Camp will focus on:
- Improving first step quickness
- Increasing top running speed
- Developing agility and change of direction

A Question of Strength

It is widely accepted that strength training is an important part of a football player’s training regimen. I would have to say that almost 90% of the football players that come to train at Velocity Sports Performance come in with one of their main goals to be increasing their strength. Depending on the age, training experience, and the position of the player I need to determine what kind of strength they need to work on the most.
Principle of Speed

When an athlete comes to Velocity Sports Performance to train we initially ask them for three goals they wish to accomplish. It is almost guaranteed that one of those goals will be to run faster. That can mean increasing their first step quickness so they can explode off the line or increasing their speed endurance so they are a scoring threat down the field.
